Obituary: Gerald G. Schmidt - Class of 1966

MADISON - Gerald G. Schmidt, age 44, of 2408 E. Washington Avenue Apt. 2. died on Monday, April 8, at home. He was born on February 16, 1947, a veteran of the Viet Nam War. Survivors include a daughter, Karmen Jenifer Schmidt; and a brother, Donald Schmidt of Deforest; and two nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Frieda Schmidt. Memorial services will be held at BETHEL LUTERHAN CHURCH, 312 Wisconsin Avenue at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 13. The Reverend James Koza will officiate. Burial will be at Sunset Memory Garden Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Bethel Lutheran Church. The JOYCE FUNERAL HOME, 540 West Washington Avenue is in charge of the arrangements.
