Obituary: Larry S. Ausse - Class of 1960

WAUNAKEE - Larry S. Ausse, age 62, passed away from cancer on Friday, Dec. 3, 2004, at the HospiceCare Center. He was born on Feb. 17, 1942, in Stoughton. He graduated from Central High School in 1960. He then served in the Marines as a reservist for eight years. He ran One Hour Delivery for 15 years, then enjoyed working at Madison Taxi. He loved crossword puzzles, playing cards and his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Lynn (nee Theobald) of 25 years; his children, Glen, Barry, Tim, Jeannie and Dee (Trevor) Meyers. He is further survived by his brothers and sisters, Pat (Joan) Ausse, Vicki (John) Dimaggio, Cheryl (Duane) Blaney, Tom (Joanie) Ausse and Mike Edwards. He will be missed by his buddy, Willie; his best friends, Joe and Nancy Bonin; and numerous family members. He was preceded in death by his father, Lloyd; his mother, Virgene; his baby brother; and a nephew. A private celebration of Larry's life will be held at a later date. A special thank you to everyone at Hospice, you were wonderful. To Pat and Joan Ausse and Dee Meyers, who were always by my side, what would I have done without?
