WATERLOO - Sandra K. Bonilla, age 61, passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2007, after a brief illness. She was born on Jan. 21, 1946, in Park Falls, the daughter of Verl and Leona (Toney) Maxson. Sandra had a great sense of humor, always made everyone laugh. She was a beloved grandmother. Sandra lived for baseball and her grandchildren. She also enjoyed making floral arrangements and collecting angels. Sandra is survived by three children, John M. (Kristina) Koenig Jr., Tanya (Luis) Gonzalez and Daniel (SanJuana) Bonilla; a brother, Larry (Pamela) Maxson; two nephews, Doug (Sue) Maxson and Erik Maxson; 11 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a former husband, Rafael Bonilla. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John M. Koenig; a sister, Kathleen Whitish; and a brother, Douglas Maxson. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 25, 2007, with the Rev. Paul Anderson presiding. Visitation will be at the funeral from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park.
