Obituary: Beatrice "Betty" Ann (Shipley) Ciolkos

SOUTH WHITLEY, IND. - Beatrice "Betty" Ann Ciolkos, age 78, died Sunday, Oct. 21, 2001, at Columbia City. She was born June 25, 1923, in Madison, Wis., a daughter of Jay and Frances Tesar Shipley. She graduated from Madison Central High School. In 1948 she married Walter Ciolkos. Mr. Ciolkos died in April 1975. She is survived by two children, Barbara Ann Hofer and Michael Ciolkos, both of Indiana; five grandsons and two great-granddaughters. She was preceded in death her parents; husband; a grandson, Joshua; and a brother, James F. Shipley. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2001, at SMITH AND SONS MILLER CHAPEL, South Whitley. Burial will be in the Circle Hill Cemetery, Angola.
