Obituary: William T. "Bill" Kozak - Class of 1958

MADISON - William T. "Bill" Kozak, age 67, passed away on Saturday, June 2, 2007, at his home. He was born on April 1, 1940, in Columbus, the son of Peter and Marie (Teidt) Kozak. Bill graduated from Central High School in 1958. He was united in marriage to Sharon Schumann on May 13, 1967. While working in the sheet metal industry for many years, Bill and Sharon worked together to acquire rental properties, which they named Kozak Apartments. He took great pride in establishing his rental properties and perfecting the upkeep of the lawns and property appearance. Bill enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Sharon; two daughters, Angela (Steven "Reeno") Jacobs of Mercer and Melissa (Patrick) Klipstine of Madison; four grandchildren, Journey and Axle Jacobs and William and Abigail Klipstine; his mother, Marie Kozak of Madison; brother, Robert (Marilyn) Kozak of DeForest; and a sister, Darlene (Sonny Joyner) Lewis of North Carolina. Bill was preceded in death by his father. Funeral services will be held at BETHEL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 312 Wisconsin Ave., Madison, at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, June 6, 2007. Visitation will be at the church from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family for a fund to be established at Middleton Village Nursing and Rehabilitation. Daddy, you will be missed!
