MADISON - Lee M. Wagner, age 62, of Madison, passed away on Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008, at HospiceCare. He was born on Feb. 21, 1946, in Madison, the son of Herman and Ella (Vant) Wagner. Lee was a friend to many. He helped to start the Madison Pool League, and enjoyed playing pool and talking. He was an amateur inventor, locksmith and wrote a manual on door closer repair and maintenance. Lee is survived by his loving wife, Bobbie; five children, Leesa Wagner, Linda Brown, Laurie Slack, Patty (Bob Lesch) McCollough and Tim McCollough; grandchildren, Brianna, Nathan, Michael, Elizabeth, Kaiena, Emily, Kristina, Karisma, Bronson, Brooke, Tarina, Devin; brother, Fred (Romelle) Wagner; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Christopher and Brandon; brother, Richard Wagner; sister, Barb Wagner. A Memorial Service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, on Thursday, Sept. 18, 2008, at 5 p.m. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 3:30 p.m. until the time of service. The family would like to thank the staff at HospiceCare for helping the family in their time of need.

Lee was Class of '65. I last saw him in 1963, and at the time he was considering a premature termination of his formal education.
Lee Wagner was a kind and loving man and also my father...I think of you all the time ,miss you dearly...xoxo
