MADISON - James C. Ranzen, age 57, of Madison, died on Sunday, Dec. 30, 2007, as a result of a house fire. He was born on Aug. 7, 1950, in Madison, the beloved son of Sven E. and Betty (Goodkind) Ranzen. Survivors include his mother, Betty; a brother, Sven Eric "Butch" (Jeanine) Ranzen Jr.; and nieces, Kelly, Brenna and Amy Ranzen. He was preceded in death by his father. A memorial service will be held at RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 2418 N. Sherman Ave., on Friday, Jan. 4, 2008, at noon. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday from 11 a.m. until time of the service.
