MADISON - Stanley A. Herman, age 76, died peacefully at his home on Monday, Aug. 22, 2005. He was born on Oct. 18, 1928, the son of Alva and Marie (Gossling) Herman. Stan graduated from Central High School and then went on to attend the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is survived by two sons, Mark and Michael "Mickey" Herman, both of Madison; daughter, Michelle (Shawn) Anglemyer of Rio; four grandchildren, Michael R. and Cory J. Herman, and Requel and Brett Anglemyer; good friends, Jeff and Ginger Neveu of Fitchburg; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and an infant sister. Funeral services will be held at JOYCE-RYAN FUNERAL HOME, 5701 Odana Road, on Saturday, Aug. 27, 2005, at 11 a.m. A visitation will be held on Saturday at the funeral home from 10 a.m. until the time of service.
