MADISON - Virginia J. Holliday, age 82, died on Monday, Dec. 6, 2004, at Meriter Hospital. She was born on March 10, 1922, in Madison, to Martin and Josephine Clemage. Virginia graduated from Madison Central High School in 1940. She married Frank L. Holliday on June 10, 1943. Virginia worked for Ellis Arneson Insurance Agency for a number of years. She was an avid seamstress, specializing in crochet work. Virginia is survived by her husband, Frank; daughter, Patricia (Randall) Daggs of Sun Prairie; son, Richard (Mary) of Mount Zion, Ill.; grandchildren, Kari and Kathy Daggs of Sun Prairie, and John and James Holliday of Decatur, Ill.; four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Betty (Bob) Mecum of McFarland. A memorial gathering will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL HOME, 5203 Monona Drive, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2004. Private entombment will be at Roselawn Memorial Park.
