MADISON - Robert W. "Bob" Arndt, age 55, passed away at his home with his sons by his side on Tuesday, June 15, 2004. He was born on March 4, 1949, in Madison, the son of William and Darlene (Johnston) Arndt. For the last 25 years, Bob was a carpenter with the Madison Metropolitan School District. Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing and snowmobiling, to name just a few of his pastimes. Most of all he enjoyed spending time around the kitchen table with his family and friends. He is survived by his two sons, Joseph (Melisa) Arndt of Rio, and David Arndt of Madison, their mother, Dawn (Jerry) Reiter of McFarland; and two precious granddaughters, Olivia and Lily Arndt of Rio. Bob was preceded in death by his sister, Nancy Dodds; and his eldest son, Rick Arndt. A memorial gathering will be held at RYAN FUNERAL HOME 2418 N. Sherman Ave., on Thursday, June 17, 2004, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. Private burial will be held at Roselawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Ryan Funeral Home & Cremation Services 2418 N.
